Federal agencies released annual reports June 15 detailing their progress on sustainability, with the General Services Administration saying it is on track to meet its sustainability goals for buildings and vehicles. GSA, which owns and leases more than 9,600 federal buildings, is implementing renewable energy and energy efficiency measures such as installing solar panels and advanced lighting systems and using geothermal technology and wind power.
