EPA Releases Quick Guide, Online Module To Summarize 2008 Watershed Plans Book

The Environmental Protection Agency has released a new guide and a companion online module for developing effective watershed plans. A Quick Guide to Developing Watershed Plans to Restore and Protect Our Waters, released June 4, provides a streamlined summary of a 2008 handbook for developing watershed plans, EPA said in a statement. The companion product, An Introduction to Watershed Planning, also summarizes the handbook, EPA said. Both documents provide technical training information for states, watershed groups, and others on how to develop more effective watershed plans to help restore and protect water sources.
