Texas Railroad Commissioner Emphasizes Public Engagement on Oil and Gas Issues

The Railroad Commission of Texas is a state agency tasked with regulating the oil, gas and surface mining activity in Texas. Elected in 2012, Christi Crad-dick is one of the three commissioners at the agency. Her six-year term ends in 2018. As an attorney, Craddick specializes in oil and gas, water, tax issues, electric deregulation and environmental policy.
