摘要

Texas Railroad Commission examiners concluded evidence does not support that EnerVest Operat-ing's disposal well in North Texas is contributing to seismic activity in the region and recommended that the company be allowed to keep its permit, the commission said Sept. 10. In their conclusions, the examiners said there is insufficient evidence to conclude that injection is likely to be or determined to be contributing to seismic activity. There is also insufficient evidence that injected fluids are escaping from the permitted disposal zone. Therefore, the examiners concluded that the company's disposal well permits remain active and unchanged.
