EPA Inspector General Launches Probe Into Travel Credit Card Used by Employees

Whether Environmental Protection Agency employees have properly used travel credit cards is the subject of an investigation announced April 21 by the agency's Office of Inspector General. To complete its work, the inspector general asked the agency to provide copies of agencywide internal controls and policies related to travel cards, results of agency internal assessments, a list of current personnel managing the program, quarterly reports on cards and a master list of all cardholders.
