The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee advanced the nomination Thursday of Tommy Beaudreau to be deputy Interior secretary by a bipartisan vote of 18-1.Beaudreau, most recently an energy lawyer, is popular with both congressional Republicans and Democrats.
