A bipartisan two-year water infrastructure package is heading to the Senate after the House passedthe measure with overwhelming support.Negotiators are confident the 2020 Water Resources Development Act, which would authorizefunding for Army Corps of Engineers projects across the country, will be passed by the Senate thismonth either as part of an omnibus package funding the federal government, or as a stand-alonebill. The House passed the amended measure (S. 1811) by voice vote.
