The EPA said Thursday it doesn't expect to extend the comment period for its "secret science" rulemaking that environmentalists strongly oppose.That decision, though presumably not final, comes in response to a request sent Wednesday by a coalition of 36 environmental groups, including Earthjustice, the Natural Resources Defense Council, the National Wildlife Federation, and Greenpeace. An EPA official spoke to Bloomberg Law on condition of anonymity.
