The EPA is defending its decision to allow continued use of a potentially deadly paint stripper forcommercial applicators.The response brief was filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and urges the court todeny a petition for review from four advocacy groups and two individual plaintiffs. The petitioners allegethat the Environmental Protection Agency failed to address the human health risk of methylene chloridein commercial paint and coating removers.
