The EPA's Science Advisory Board meets today for the first time in a year amid numerous questions about its role. 1. The panel of outside experts reviews the quality of scientific and technical information the EPA uses to develop its regulations. Over the next two days it will discuss agency issues ranging from proposed rules on science transparency and waters of the U.S., to fluorinated chemicals and carcinogen guidelines.
