Gop Senators Ask Epa For Comprehensive List Of Revised Bush Rules

GOP senators are urging EPA to provide a comprehensive list of the last-minute "midnight" Bush agency rules that the Obama administration is reviewing, amid growing calls for greater transparency on the role of top executive environmental officials. Senate Environment & Public Works Committee ranking member James Inhofe (R-OK) and panel member John Barrasso (R-WY) in a March 4 letter to EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson ask for a "comprehensive list" of the Bush rules the agency is reconsidering in accordance with a Jan. 20 memo from White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel in which he directed agency heads to review a slew of last-minute Bush administration regulations.
