Advocating without partisanship

Engineers Australia looks to contribute to public debate on issues that are directly related to engineering, impact on the engineering profession or are in the best interest of the community from the membership's point of view. To this end the International and National Policy (INP) Directorate at the National Office in Canberra undertakes public policy activities which include: 1. researching and developing position papers and reports; 2. hosting policy forums and other events to maximise the impact of our views and the significant contribution that engineering makes to Australia's economic, social and physical environment; 3. preparing responses and submissions to government policies and proposals.
