Maxitec has made available the Tensol Origami folding machine from OEMB. The Origami range comprises machines with folding lengths that increase in increments of two metres from 4m to 14m. Their work depths include 1100mm, 1250mm and 1500mm. The machines can be equipped with a variety of back gauges, manual shears and motorise hydraulic shears. A steel reinforcement bar of 46-50-HRC hardness can be used to fold materials that are harder than standard steels. The bar is available in dimensions of 30mm × 10mm, 30mm × 15mm or 60mm × 25mm. Other dimensions are available on request. Several control units are available, equipped with at least a 40CB hard drive and a USB port for backup. The systems can handle programs of more than 100 lines as well as incremental quotes, fold repetitions and numeric names. An operator can activate the full-length safety foot rail to bring the machine to a halt.
