Three-in-one event in Brisbane next year

A call for papers was recently announced for next year's 6th International conference for conveying and handling of particulate solids (CHoPS), the first time this event is to be held in Australia. CHoPS will be held from 3-7 August 2009 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. The conference will be concurrent with the 10th International conference on bulk materials handling (ICBMH) and BULKEX 2009, the Australasian bulk handling exhibition. Conference chair Peter Wypych, said CHoPS was initiated in Israel in 1995 and has since grown to become an international event. It is hosted every three years, the last CHoPS being held in Sorrento, Italy in 2006.
