The gauge in melbourne's docklands, which opened last August, is Australia's first commercial building to receive a 6 star Green Star - Office as Built Certified Rating. It was given the rating last month by the Green Building Council of Australia.rnProject development for The Gauge was carried out byrnLend Lease Development, project and construction management was by Bovis Lend Lease and architecture was by Lend Lease Design. The Gauge was funded and is owned by Lend Lease managed Australian Prime Property Fund Commercial. Lend Lease will occupy a part of the building.rnFront-of-house design incorporates a reception, business lounge, green room and recreation area, all operating as a single, connected space. These four elements are linked horizontally and vertically and encourage the integration of staff and visitors.
