Engineering firm Hyder is providing the building, mechanical engineering and plumbing (MEP) services for a $130 million construction project on Macquarie University's North Ryde campus. The building, which entered its design stage in July 2007 and its construction stage in June 2009, will become the global headquarters of hearing aid company Cochlear and also host its research, development, clean-room manufacture, warehouse, testing and distribution facilities.
