In the March cover story Building a bigger port for Sydney it was mentioned that the shear leg barge on the project was designed inhouse, components procured internationally and assembly undertaken at Glebe Island Sydney. The Melbourne-based Industrial Hydraulic Services designed, fabricated/manufactured and supplied mooring winches, double drum der-ricking winches, double acting hydraulic rams, a diesel powered hydraulic power unit, drums and housings, and operation equipment for the barge.
