Nuclear power alive and well

I take great exception to the article by Terence Jeyaret-nam "Nuclear power is fighting a losing battle" (Engineers Australia, April). The article contains flawed information and scare mongering. It quotes data selectively from 2008 rather than planned investment in 2011 in respect of renewable energy over conventional power generation. It ignores the massive investment in conventional and nuclear power generation in Asia and the subcontinent.
