Improving diversity in the workplace

"Live it, believe it, do it!" This was the succinct advice of Arup Australasia CEO Peter Bailey to his CEO colleagues in other companies, when asked, during the launch of Consult Australia's Diverse Approaches report last month in Sydney, about how leaders could help improve diversity in the workplace. Offering greater flexibility at the workplace is at the heart of a more diverse workforce and leading by ex ample from the top is essential, he told the meeting.
