Bridge heritage celebrated

Road bridges that cross the Canning River in Perth attained status on the Western Australian State Heritage list last month. State heritage min ister John Castrilli said Canning Bridge becomes one of six historic bridges that help tell the wider story of the develop ment of Perth "as we grew from a colonial town into a modern metropolis".
