The view from the Visitors' Lookout at the Port of Hay Point, Queensland, is impressive. The four coal-loading berths - two each at the Dalrymple Bay and the Hay Point Coal Terminals - and the associated massive coal stockpiles, demonstrate the valuable part this site plays and has played for over 40 years in Australia's economy.
