Mick Farrell

In march, Mick Farrell took over as chief executive of ResMed, a company that produces medical devices for respiratory disorders. He replaced his father and company founder Peter Farrell. Revenue for the quarter ended 31 March was US$383.6 million, a 10% increase (also a 10% increase on a constant currency basis) over the quarter ended March 31,2012. In announcing the result, Farrell also launched VPAP, a device that allows home treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
