摘要

We suggest an algorithm for correcting war-page effects that occur in laser sintering. The basic idea is to apply an inverse deformation to a polyhedral model prior to its fabrication, and the underlying algorithmic problem is to obtain suitable deformation vectors and to interpolate them over the surface of the model. We use a discretized natural neighbor interpolation approach that has been adapted to work on triangulated surfaces. Experiments indicate that our approach does indeed mitigate the war-page problem of laser sintering.
