Glynn: Many of our customers have been putting off buying new equipment for the past several years, understandably so. The investment on their part will be substantial and availability will be a problem. As dealers and manufacturers, our inventories have shrunk for the same reasons contractors have not been buying. When the economy turns, we will all be in the same boat-new demand and not enough equipment to go around. The environmental changes because of Tier 4 will surprise many customers. The new Tier 4 price tags will get people's attention.
