In today's technology-driven environment, the building and construction industry faces increasing pressure to adopt new systems, solutions and integrated practices. Often times, they are caught between clients and software companies and the associated investment. According to the FMI 2012 U.S. Markets Construction Overview, clients, dazzled by what software developers show them, are driving firms to use technologies that do not always do what is advertised-but at no extra cost.
