Graduate Programs Develop Rocky Mountain Leaders

The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado-Boulder now has two graduate degree programs for real estate professionals interested in real estate development management-an MBA in Real Estate and an MS in Real Estate. Both programs require students to take the capstone NAIOP Rocky Mountain challenge course sponsored by the Colorado division of NAIOP. In this course, student teams must develop a proposal for a site in the Denver metropolitan area. Students spend the semester working with architects, developers, lenders, equity investors and public officials to complete the project. Students spend the semester working with architects, developers, lenders, equity investors and public officials developing proposals for the site. The Leeds student teams then compete against each other and the winning team competes against a student team representing the real estate program at the University of Denver.
