McGraw Hill Construction's Dodge Momentum Index increased 8.4% in April, reversing declines in February and March. With the April rebound, the index is up 17.8% from the same month a year ago. The April index was bolstered by several planned large commercial projects, including a $300-million corporate headquarters in Piano, Texas; a $260-million Seattle convention-center hotel; and a $200-million hotel in L.A.
