SAND COVER CONSTRUCTION OF WEEK GROUND AT WATER BOTTOM

PURPOSE:To efficiently form an even and satisfactory sand cover layer on week ground at the bottom of water, by discharging compressed air from the lower end section of a conduit to its internal upper section, and by dispersing sand at the same time. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air A from an air compressor 9 on a sand conveyor vessel 1 is discharged to the upper section in a tremie 3 via a compressed air discharging pipe 11; and at the same time, sand S is conducted to week ground 8 at the bottom of water to be dispersed. By this method, the falling speed of the sand S is controlled by the rise of the compressed air A, and the falling sand S and water are evenly mixed with each other by the rise of the air-bubble of the compressed air A.
