We all know there is a workforce shortage and that it's worse in some parts of the country than others. These issues affect everyone-contractors, communities and insurers-and it's up to all of us to contribute to the solution. As insurers, our role is not just to write a check when things go bad but to act as a resource and partner in managing risks-in this case, the emerging risks caused by workforce shortages and the hiring of workers on jobsites with limited experience.
