Cement prices fell 0.2% in February after staying flat in January, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' producer price index. Annual escalation for the index sat at 0.9% for the second consecutive month. ENR's 20-city average monthly price for masonry cement fell 0.5% in April, with a yearly increase of 10%. All three types of concrete block experienced yearly increases. Masonry sand increased 0.2% this month, with yearly prices 10.3% above this time last year. All three types of ready-mix concrete had yearly increases.
