Construction starts in the Denver metro area are expected to decrease 3.5% in 2020, to $8 billion, according to Dodge Data & Analytics. The residential market is the catalyst for the drop, with an anticipated decline of 4.3%, Dodge says. Non-residential work is expected to fall 2.2%. Hotel and health-care construction will see the largest decreases, while warehouse and single-family housing are expected to see small increases.
