The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Energy Studies was established in 1980 to inform the Government of the day of the energy issues of the day. Therefore, we submit straightforward suggestions, with clear benefits of creating a path to net zero and job creation. This response document has been prepared following a remote consultation with our Associate Members in industry and academia. The time to act is now. Reports in recent days from national and international bodies all see this moment as an opportunity to make a change from the "business as usual" approach.
