2011 MAY 4 - (VerticalNews.com) -- According to recent research from Shenzhen,rnPeople's Republic of China, "Polyetheretherketone-hydroxyapatite nanocomposite materials arerninvestigated for the purpose of improving the bonding between polyetheretherketone (PEEK)rnmatrix and hydroxyapatite (HA) fillers since their debonding deteriorates the otherwise superiorrnantifatigue properties of PEEK materials. The nanocomposites are successfully produced byrnincorporating lab-prepared HA nanoparticles, up to 15.0 vol%, to PEEK matrix via arncompounding and injection molding process."
