According to recent research from the United States, "Modeling ultrasonic fields in frontrnof a transducer in the presence and absence of a scatterer is a fundamental problem that has beenrnattempted by different techniques: analytical, semi-analytical, and numerical. However, arncomprehensive comparison study among these techniques is currently missing in the literature."
