Investment fund EQT is reportedly considering the sale of its stakenin cable TV and fixed broadband operator blizoo, present in Bulgarianand Macedonia. Local news sources suggest that invitations to participatenin the sale will be issued this month and bids to be submittednin September. Representatives of the company have allegedly metnwith three major Bulgarian companies, MobilTel (M-Tel), CosmonBulgaria (GloBul) and Vivacom, with M-Tel showing the mostninterest in placing a bid. We caution against paying over the oddsnfor a company which has posted consistent declines in sales, butnsome growth potential remains through a strategy focused aroundnhigher-value pay-TV offerings.
