Data control help Avimo win Apache helicopter order

British defence contractor Avimo is using Jobshop production control software and data capture terminals from Custom Micro Products to help it manufacture sighting systems for the latest Apache Longbow helicopter. Avimo, based in Taunton, was founded in 1937 to manufacture aircraft instrumentation and now specialises in electro-optical systems such as lasers, night sights and targeting equipment.
