Two major banks, State Bank of India (SBI) and ICICI Banks are joining hands with India's leading cellular operators to launch mobile banking operations. While SBI inked a pact with Airtel, private banking major ICICI Bank has signed up with Vodafone. According to a Reuters report, in the last four years, SBI has set up 15,000 customer service points of business correspondents as well as 13,000 business facilitators.
