Computer giant Dell has announced that it now sources 26% of its global electricity needs from renewable energy sources; up from 20% in 2008. The company now powers nine of its facilities in the USA and Europe with 100% renewable energy, including those in Bracknell and Glasgow. The use of renewable energy is part of Dell's plan to reduce its facilities' greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2015.
