Fiber comm exhibit gears up for a record year

Despite a challenging year for the telecom industry, the Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exhibit (OFC 2002) is expecting a 23% increase in exhibiting companies and a 38% increase in exhibiting space compared with last year's show. Hosted by the Optical Society of America and IEEE, the show has been a forum for the fiber-optics industry since 1984―offering interactive demonstrations of the newest fiber-optic technologies, research, and applications. Here are some of the products that will be displayed at this year's show.
