Anew technique developed by researchers at Georgia Institute of Technology takes advantage of the force generated by magnetic repulsion, allowing them to measure the adhesion strength between thin films of materials used in microelectronic devices, photovoltaic (PV) cells and micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS).
