Electronics Manufacturing Made EASi!

Under the direction of American Competitiveness Institute's EMPF, the Electronics Assembly Pavilion at the 19th annual Assembly Technology Exposition (ATE) show will feature a fully operational electronics assembly line. The EASi (Electronics Assembly Suppliers Initiative) line focuses on demonstrating practical electronics assembly solutions using equipment the average manufacturer can afford. Again this year, the American Competitiveness Institute's Electronics Manufacturing Productivity Facility (EMPF) is coordinating the effort. This year's EASi line will produce a double-sided functional digital compass that showcases SMT as well as flip chip technologies.
