Rockwell Buys Automation Control

Rockwell Automation, Milwaukee, has acquired Automation Control Products (ACP), Alpharetta, Ga., a provider of centralized thin client, remote desktop and server management software. The move expands Rockwell's capabilities in connecting the data of the plant floor with wider enterprise systems. ACP's two core products, ThinManager and Relevance, provide manufacturing and industrial users with visual display and software solutions to manage information and streamline workflows for a more connected manufacturing environment, said a Rockwell release.
