Hydroelectric Projects in Himachal Pradesh

摘要

Himachal Pradesh has hydroelectric potential of 18,820 MW. 32.4% of this has been developed so far and another 24.5% is under development. Thus, there is a need to accelerate the process of development of the remaining 43% of potential in the State. This would not only help in increasing the electricityrnavailability in the State, but also would be beneficial in supplying the increasingrndemand of electricity of northern grid as well as the national grid.
