摘要

This article presents experimental results of creep and fatigue in electric conductor grade aluminum high voltage winding conductor which have further been related with the high failure rate of frequently energized aluminum wound distribution transformers. The creep and axial fatigue tests were performed at stress and temperature which generate in the high voltage windings under cold load pick up and inrush current conditions.
