NXP ultralow-power wireless family targets the Internet of Things

Hnxp Semiconductors has announced the JN516x family of ultralow-power wireless microcontrollers for JenNet-IP, ZigBee, and other IEEE 802.15.4 applications using NXP 802.15.4-based software stacks. Designed for use within the Internet of Things, the MCUs are intended for applications ranging from smart lighting and home automation to wireless sensor networks.
