Light-weight section insulator for overhead contact lines

Good running and arc extinguishing performances are the most important characteristics of the new light-weight section insulators of the SICAT series for overhead contact lines of all kinds. After having successfully passed comprehensive tests in the laboratory and under operational conditions, the new section insulators have been used in overhead contact line systems for urban and mainline railways at voltages up to 25 kV and running speeds up to 200 km/h. The section insulators can be easily installed and maintained.%Gute Befahrbarkeit und gutes Lichtbogenlöschvermögen sind die wichtigsten Eigenschaften der neuen Leichtbau-Streckentrenner der SICAT-Baureihe für Oberleitungen aller Art. Nach umfassenden Prüfungen und Betriebserprobungen werden die Streckentrenner in Oberleitungsanlagen des Nah- und Fernverkehrs bis 25 kV Nennspannung und bis 200 km/h Fahrgeschwindigkeit verwendet. Die Streckentrenner lassen sich einfach montieren und Instand halten.
