It is not a job for the faint of heart. They rescue stranded workers from bucket trucks; they resuscitate injured bystanders safely and quickly; and they can climb poles in less than 15 seconds-they are the competitors in the 24th Annual International Lineman's Rodeo & Expo held last summer in Bonner Springs, ks.rnAccording to the event's website, the lineman's rodeo attracts the best linemen to compete in events based on traditional tasks and skills. Last summer, 200 teams and 250 apprentices signed up for some friendly competition and to demonstrate proper and safe execution of their professional skills.
