Learning to Flourish: A Philosophical Exploration of Liberal Education

DeNicola prompts a number of questions vital for educators to ponder, only a small sampling of which I have begun to consider here. At least, I hope to have indicated that there is much to explore if we are to take human well-being seriously as a/the aim of education. Regarding liberal education, insofar as we complicate the requirements for well-being, likely we should complicate the meaning and point of a liberal education, and, more contentiously, how, if at all, it is essential for a life lived well.
