To succeed in the business of biotechnology, you need to screw your courage to the sticking place. But researchers at Hy-brigenics, a small firm based in Paris, and their colleagues at the Pasteur Institute have put their science there too. In a paper published in this week's Nature the team has shown that looking at how proteins stick to each other can map the interactions between thousands of such molecules inside a cell, thereby providing useful insights into their functions.
