The Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) is back, taking risks like the teenager it was several buildings ago. After three years in a bunker in the borough of Queens, the museum reopens in midtown Manhattan on November 20th, with a gleaming new tower designed by Yoshio Taniguchi. The renovation has provided a reason to unify all the architectural additions of the museum's 75-year history, while the museum's exhibition space has increased by half, to 125,000 square feet (11,600 square metres).
